California Retina Research Foundation(CRRF)
The California Retina Research Foundation is a non-profit organization based in Santa Barbara and devoted to the prevention of blindness through the advancement of research in vitreoretinal diseases. The CRRF promotes research, both laboratory and clinical, that demonstrate the potential for establishing new treatments intended for patients with retinal diseases.
The Foundation supports the dissemination of information concerning retinal diseases to the medical and non medical community through educational conferences, the publication of scientific research papers, and the training of medical personnel.
The Foundation also promotes charity care for individuals suffering from retinal disease but without the resources to pay for medical services. The CRRF, in collaboration with other local charities and the Santa Barbara Cottage Health System, strives to see that no individual loses vision from a retinal disease because of lack of financial support.
The CRRF is funded through the generosity of interested individuals and donations may be submitted to California Retina Research Foundation at 515 E. Micheltorena Street, Suite G, Santa Barbara, CA 93103.
