Chris Wu, M.D., Surgical & Medical Retina, and Uveitis
Dr. Wu graduated Magna Cum Laude from Columbia University with an undergraduate degree and then earned his medical degree at the University of Michigan Medical School. Following an internship at the University of Hawaii, he completed his ophthalmology residency at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai. Afterward was a vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at the University of California San Diego and a uveitis fellowship at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute.
Dr. Wu is a diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Retina Specialists, and the American Uveitis Society. He has been an investigator in multiple national clinical trials in retina and uveitis as well as over 50 peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, and conference abstracts. Fluent in Mandarin and basic medical Spanish, Dr. Wu is delighted to return home to California to provide the best care to the community.
